Learning Japanese App Reviews

This app doesnt cheat you one bit, pretending like others that english = Japanese. But goes through and explains the language. It starts out a little intimidating, but you can get the hang of it soon. A must have for beginners and intermediates alike.

Most apps lack the completeness of learning Japanese from ground up. This app provides a full spectrums of mastering the language including links to useful resources and audio sounds for pronunciation from both male and female.

Cant beat free. Especially for an app thats better then the $10 Japanese ones.

I really love the app but on some pages the information is missing (always the last 3-4 paragraphs) I think this might be due to the last IOS 8.1 update, I will keep the app installed but I hope it gets fixed! Great app!

This app has the best explanations that Ive come across so far! Its really easy to learn it, especially for people like me who forget things easily or get distracted often. You can check back at what youve just learned, which is harder to have in videos! Overall a great app, so its definitely something youd want to download, so long as you speak English, that is.

This offers a new approach to Japanese, and is complete in terms of content. Its never misleading, and you can find external links, videos, and exercises in the app. Definitely recommended if you want to learn Japanese, or just wanting a refresher!

Tae kims website is a good resource for learning japanese. Now, an ipod/iphone version is out! Its sooo good!

The best Japanese resource I own. The website was great, having the guide in your pocket is even better.

The moment I read the introduction, I was completely sold. The content did not disappoint either.

I really love it and use it very often. Lessons are easy to read and short but with enough examples to get the key points. And the search tool allows to quickly find a lesson... This with a dictionary is the perfect combination. Just one bug to notice, it appeared probably since iOS 10: links in lessons do not work any more, no way to get the vocabulary hints... hope well get a fix soon :-)

Very good app! One of the best ones! And the new updated version is great! It explains very well. Its a very useful guide to learn Japanese. But... It could explain Kanji much more. Great work!

Best app for learning Japanese without paying any money. So detailed!

If you really want to learn Japanese grammar this app is the best I have used so far. However you need to have some basic kana knowledge, before going into deeper levels.
